Chicago Phoenix Theatre With Martin Kemp – the musical celebrates its 21st anniversary

Martin Kemp, who replaces Cuba Gooding, is now on stage doing his stuff.  He is joined by the We Will Rock You star Mazz Murray

Based on Maureen Dallas Watkins’ 1926 play of the same name, Chicago is the thrilling tale of 1920’s nightclub performers turned murderess’. Dancing for their lives to stay off of Death Row, Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly enlist the help of the smooth-talking Billy Flynn to help them clear their names. Featuring a sizzling score by Kander and Ebb, the musical includes numbers such as “All That Jazz”, “Hot Honey Rag” and “Razzle Dazzle”, amongst many more well-known show-stoppers.

Casting includes Mazz Murray as Mama Morton, Sarah Soetaert as Roxie and Josefina Gabrielle as Velma.

One of the greatest musicals around, this is simply not to be missed!

Martin appears in the show for a strictly limited season. It due to end 1 September 2018.
