Clipper Race Returning to Derry-Londonderry – can’t wait for the return welcome. Will you be taking part in the Festival 14 – 22 July 2018?

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race may be in the North Pacific Ocean but in just 100 days (from April 5), the crew will be enjoying themselves in Derry-Londonderry at the Foyle Maritime Festival!

HotelPlanner.com Skipper and Derry-Londonderry local Conall Morrison have a message. The Skipper and his team took time out from racing to officially begin the countdown. Also to celebrate that home is only around 14,000 nautical miles away!

The event will be held over three separate arenas. Mambo Ibiza, Luminosity Events and the Derry based MODE/Fuze. All of which will showcase the best international and local talent in the fields of trance, house and techno. Headlining the event will be the legendary Paul Van Dyk.  Also Route 94 and Gareth Emery announced as bill toppers. Meanwhile, BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard will be playing at the Mambo arena.  The saxophone sensation Lovely Laura also set to blow the crowds away with Ben Santiago.

It sounds a great event. Will you be going? We would like to hear from you. Are you expecting big crowds?  Any news you have about the festival let us know. In the meantime catch the video message.
