Bafta Awards 2018: Leading Actor Gary Oldman. Picked up a top accolade at the ceremony Royal Albert Hall.

It was packed with the best in the film and television industry.  Competition was high and it was a prize that could’ve gone to top stars.  But Gary got the Bafta a prize he can add to his shelf.

He has been the leading contender in this year’s award season. Gary has already picked up a Golden Globe and SAG for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in the film Darkest Hour.

And of course there was the joke at the beginning of the announcement about Frances McDormand winning.  It won a few laughs.  But in reality Gary Oldman was handed the award.

This great win could lead to an Oscar.  For most actors that is the accolade of their careers.  Will he make it?  Should he win an Oscar?  Let us know.
