Jonnie Peacock Races Through Jive in Strictly – Gold medalist made it look cool and smooth on the dance floor.

Jonnie Peacock MBE is double Paralympic, World and European T44 100m Champion and first contestant with a disability to take part.

He was thrilled to be invited to join the dance team of Strictly Come Dancing for the new 2017 series.

Jonnie partnered with Oti Mabuse.  She is from South Africa and was part of the Strictly team in 2016.

Oti started as an engineer.  But later on took up dancing, won awards and prizes and is now on the Strictly Come Dancing team.

Jonnie and Oti were awesome on the show tonight Saturday September 30. The two won huge applause and looked fantastic as a dancing team.

Apparently Jonnie was wearing a new blade which, he said, was a little uncomfortable at the beginning.  But once in the swing of the dance the paralympian had no trouble completing the jive to the tune of ‘Johnny Be Goode’.

The judges were highly impressed. Remarks were positive. However needs to watch the movements of arms.  Also develop the movement of the hips.

Catch the awesome dance. The total score from the judges: 29!
