Michael Jackson statue now has a new home
Fulham’s controversial Michael Jackson statue given a welcome at the National Football Museum in Manchester.
Michale Jackson statue donated in May 2014 by owner Mohamed Al Fayed. He said the statue in a perfect place for the artwork. Al Fayed took the decision after fans in Fulham rejected the quiche figure of Michael Jackson.
The statue was installed in 2011 by the Premier League club’s former owner Mr Al Fayed – a friend of the late pop star – but later removed by his successor Shahid Khan.
Fans were furious when it was unveiled at Fulham Football ground saying it had nothing to do with the club. Ynuk.tv found fans visiting the Museum had similar views
