Fans Fabio and FA

Fans learn that in a FA report out 5 Oct, John Terry was found to be not a racist but his comments were an insult.

The FA banned John Terry, September 27, for four matches and fined him £220,o00 for racially abusing QPR Defender Anton Ferdinand. The decision was a controversial one.  There were daily debates on who was right and who was wrong.  John Terry was winning a lot of support.  Mainly because of his football talent and fans did not want to see out of the game.

Earlier. in July a court had found Terry not guilty of the offence.  Then there was another twist in the controversy.  At the time of the incident Fabio Capello quit as England Manager because he opposed what had happened to the footballer and publicly criticised the FA’s decision to strip John Terry of the England captaincy.  The legal details were becoming complicated and Fabio was angry over the discipline the FA handed out to Terry.

Chelsea went to Stamford Bridge to get some street reaction to the whole issue.  So was it right for Fabio to show support for the Chelsea player who lost his armband and who was one of his best players.
