TARTUFFE – Theatre Royal Haymarket to 28 July. Watch the trailer for a taster of the play
Molière’s classic comedy. Adapted by Christopher Hampton. Directed by Gerald Garutti
A French media tycoon is tormented by a radical American evangelist. It happens in his new home of present day Los Angeles in Christopher Hampton’s timely adaptation of Moliere’s classic comedy. This staging of Tartuffe is directed by Gerald Garutti. The production is the first dual language performance in the West End and will alternate between English and French with subtitles.
Starring Paul Anderson and Audrey Fleurot.
The play is considered one of the best to see in the West End. Theatre fills each night but be quick because bookings end July 28. Catch the performance while in the heart of London’s theatre land. It would be good if it could be extended but not likely at this stage.

There has been incredible praise for this play by theatre critics. They say:
‘Ingenius’, Britishtheatre.com. Delicious…Wicked…Brilliant’, Broadwayworld.com. ‘Remarquable’,
Le Figaro. ‘Seductive’, The Independent.
Well, a good indication of what to expect from this raunchy production. It should be totally entertaining and of course a great performance.
