Prosthetic Feet Help Amputees Snowboard – hi-tech feet on the slopes

Technology advancements are allowing disabled athletes to compete in more and more sports previously inaccessible to them.

BBC Click reporter Kat Hawkins had her legs amputated 10 years ago. She went to try out some new feet that could help amputees carve up the slopes this winter.

They look a little bulky but in fact they are flexible and sturdy.  Could take time to adjust using them but worth all the falls while learning to use them.

The feet are fantastic in style and colour.  Fit in with current fashion. Also have excellent walking movement.

But as you will find out in the video they are pricy. So whether they are affordable is another thing.  However if you’re a snowboarding fanatic these feet are for you.
