Birmingham is in the heart of the UK. Now soul of the Commonwealth. It is going to be perfect for the most spectacular sporting event held in the nation.

The estimated cost is £750m to stage the showpiece.

This is already more than the Olympic Games expenditure in London 2012.  But then the economy was a little different those days.

Hosting the great sporting event is bound to bring success to the UK. The nation has become a strong competitor in track and field, swimming and other major sports.  Athletes are proud to be performing for the country and win medals. Team GB will be back in force

This is what Birmingham is offering to the sporting visitors and the spectators.

One of the youngest cities in Europe, Birmingham is vibrant and richly diverse. It is well-known for always offering warm welcome to visitors from around the world.

The city demonstrates the very best of Global Britain to the world with this exciting bid. It  showcases its strengths of: being connected and accessible; youth and inclusivity; and a focus on regeneration and rejuvenation.

An exciting place and exciting event.

It has a track record of delivering international sporting events.  It also has a wealth of sporting venues.

A lot of regeneration work has been going on in the City. It looks fresh, smart and full of potential living. There will be locals to meet. Activities to do when sport is resting. Help, guidance just round the corner. Sports officials are thrilled
