Watch all the best bits and listen to BT Sport’s pundit analysis.  Australia edges closer to winning the opening Ashes Test of the 2017/18 series at the Gabba in Brisbane.

What a day. The Moeen crease issue dominated play for too long. Not enough runs by England players. They seemed to be out with minutes of hitting the ball.

But fans loved the day.  The Gabba is a great ground. Weather was hot.  Probably again Monday.

Apparently England had a good start with Joe Root but Nathan Lyon wasted him very quickly.

Joe Root has been dismissed LBW in 11 of his last 29 innings.

Sports critics not being gentle or kind about the England team. Although some admit it was not likely that the visitors would win the First Test of the Ashes.
