The Mercy Trailer – watch true events of a disastrous Golden Globe Race in 1968.  Arrives in cinemas 9 February

This is how it goes

Yachtsman Donald Crowhurst’s disastrous attempt to win the 1968 Golden Globe Race ends up with him creating an outrageous account of traveling the world alone by sea.

The story tells of Crowhurst’s dangerous solo voyage and the struggles he confronted on the epic journey. His wife Claire and children waited for his return at home. Described as one of the most enduring mysteries of recent times.

The Mercy is released ahead of the 50th anniversary Golden Globe Race. The race starts on 30 June 2018 from Plymouth.
