British Independent Film Nominations – Awards 2017 – the big day for the honours is Sunday December 10.  This will be hosted by actor writer Mark Gatiss. 

In the meantime, catch up with the nominations announced.  There’s an amazing amount of talent and expected to be a hard task for the judges who are from the industry.

Lady Macbeth heads the top of the list with 15 nominations.  Incredible.  The Death Of Stalin and I am Not A Witch area a close 13.

God’s Own Country, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri each nominated 11.

Presenters for the 20th BIFA Nominations Awards were Hayley Squires and Maisie Williams.  They are among the most exciting acting talent there is in the UK.

The British Independent Film Awards highlight and celebrate the best independent British film.  Also filmmakers and the best future prospects in the industry. BIFA shines a light on and provides access to the best.  British independent film audiences have and haven’t heard of.

It is every actors dream to have an award sitting on a shelf somewhere in their home. The profession is hardworking and takes a lot of sweat and tears to get to the top.

But they are not the only ones who will be recognised for their work.  Awards will be handed out to others
