Remembrance Day LIVE Ended – Prince Charles lays wreath.  

Millions across the country and the Commonwealth honour those who lost their lives in conflict as the Remembrance Sunday was marked by the UK.

A two-minute silence held across the country and wreaths laid at memorials.

Prince Charles attended the annual ceremony at the Cenotaph in London as Big Ben chimed at 11:00 GMT.

For the first time the Queen will not lay a wreath but instead watch from the Foreign Office’s balcony.  Her son Charles to carry out the commemoration for her.

Whitehall packed with families, friends, relatives for the occasion.

At the Cenotaph on Whitehall, the Last Post was played. Then the Prince of Wales lays the wreath.

The royals joined by Prime Minister Theresa May. Other senior politicians, religious leaders and dignitaries from around the Commonwealth.
