This is how it goes
Dr. Steven Murphy is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon who presides over a spotless household with his wife and two children. Lurking at the margins of his idyllic suburban existence is Martin. He’s a fatherless teen who manoeuvres himself into the doctor’s life in unsettling ways. Soon, the full scope of Martin’s intent becomes menacingly clear. He confronts Steven with a long-forgotten transgression that will shatter his domestic bliss forever.
The teenager gets curious about how much hair the surgeon has on his body. At first Steven is reluctant to do it. But the boy is persuasive. Steven eventually gives in and show him his chest and underarm hair. It is all very peculiar.

Newsbites: Critics find the film strangely intoxicating. The friendship between the surgeon and the 16-year-old baffling. However, it is considered intriguing, disturbing with an amusing twist.
Conversation at home with the wife is limited. Very little is exchanged between the two. When they chat it is about the teenage boy. There is a voodoo menace in the family
The highly successful surgeon is not keen on divulging too much about his patient.
Film given four star rating. Considered one of the best shown at Cannes Festival 2017.
Teenager to surgeon: Your sons says you’ve got lots of hair under your arms. Three times more than I do. That you have a very hairy back and a very hairy belly.
Surgeon: I probably have more hair than you because I am older than you. Soon you will have more hair too. It’s all down to hormones
Teenager: Can you show me please? Can you take off your shirt?
