 Are You The Next Vlogstar Champion? Alesha Dixon helps launch next competition. Backs free YouTube training for young people

Are you the next Vlogstar Champion? This is an inspiring and creative award. A financial reward given. Schools, youth groups could benefit.

Last week, (October 5) Britain’s Got Talent judge, Alesha Dixon helped Media Trust launch the next  Vlogstar Challenge competition for 2018.

Challenge is run in partnership with Jack Petchey Foundation, YouTube and the London Evening Standard.  The Vlogstar Challenge offers 16-25-year-olds in London and Essex the opportunity to articulate and share passions through video blogs.

2017 Vlogstar Challenge champion, Isaac Harvey, talks about the experience and why young people  should apply to the Vlogstar Challenge 2018.

The Challenge powered by the Jack Petchey Foundation and Media Trust. Also, in partnership with YouTube and the Evening Standard. It is an exciting vlogging workshop and competition for 16-25 year olds. The Vlogstar Challenge is available to youth organisations and schools in London and Essex.

School and youth organisations invited to sign up for a free vlogging training workshop. Everyone that takes part will then be invited to enter a vlog into the competition with the chance to win some amazing prizes.

The winning vlog selected by a panel of judges from YouTube and the Evening Standard. In addition to the award the winner will get £2,000 for school or youth organisation.

Don’t be afraid of a challenge. Having a go is just as important as wining.  Style, ideas and creativity helps with a vlog. Good thing is that it’s a learning process. No fear is involved.  Just go for it!
