Sky News – Terror Incident at West London Station – 22 people have been injured none in life-threatening condition.  LIVE ENDED

Anti-terrorism police are investigating a blast on the District Line service during Friday morning’s rush hour. Social media were the first to break the news

Emergency services from around the Capital rushed to the scene. At least 22 people have been taken to hospital thought to be suffering from burns.  It is also understood people may have been hurt in the crush to escape.

Parsons Green is a quiet but busy suburban Station. Witnesses described acrid smell coming from the train.  There was also panic as passengers scrambled from the scene.

A bucket inside the train was on fire and thought to be where an explosion happened but according to officials it did not fully detonate.

A manhunt is underway for the person or people who may have left the bag seen to be burning just before the incident.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan: Terrorism won’t defeat us. The London Mayor will be attending a Cobra meeting called and chaired by the Prime Minister. Security measure will be high on the agenda
