Met Police have eliminated Eric Bellquist from the investigation into the incident.

Mr Bellquist arrested Thursday morning (10Aug) on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. No further action taken against Bellquist.

The lawyers of Eric Bellquist, 41, categorically denied he was at the location. Lawyers had irrefutable proof Eric was in the United States at the time.

CCTV footage released of a jogger that police wanted to trace after a woman pushed into the path of a bus on Putney Bridge.

The woman was not seriously injured as the bus was travelling slowly on the bridge.  However, the driver saw the incident and able to swerve missing her by inches.

Sgt Mat Knowles said: “It was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle.”

The bus stopped and passengers helped the woman. It is understood her injuries were minor. The incident happened on the morning of 5 May at about 7.40.

Jogger ran the other way across the bridge around 15 minutes later.  The victim attempted to speak to the man, but he would not acknowledge the woman.

The Police appeal had massive public response to the appeal. The morning fine and bright.  Releasing the footage could help track the jogger.  Did you see anything?
