London Bridge Attack The Weapons – knives bought in shops anywhere in UK.

Metropolitan Police released pictures of the fake explosive belts worn by the London Bridge attackers. The Met also published photos of the White van and the arsenal of weapons inside.

Eight people killed after the van rammed into pedestrians on the night of 3 June 2017.  More than 40 injured.

Originally the terrorists set out to hire a huge truck. But Khuram Shazad Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba’s credit card payment was rejected.

The attackers rehearsed the drive before the massive blow.  The three went twice round the area then a u-turn.  And travelling at great speed down the wrong side of the road rammed into a crowd of pedestrians. All in the vicinity of the pub on the corner of London Bridge and Tooley Street.

Later, armed police shot dead the three men.  The terrorists were wildly stabbing at people on the Bridge and also in nearby Borough Market. It was full of people passing through or eating in the area. A popular location for visitors.

When officers saw canisters strapped to them they took action and killed the attackers.  It was later discovered that the suicide belts were fake – worn to scare and spread panic.

A shocking attack that stunned the Capital and nation. It happened on a busy night of fun and entertainment.
