Flowers take over Westminster adding an atmosphere of pride without fear

The scene of a horrific attack, the Palace of Westminster is now surrounded with thousands of flowers. Westminster Bridge has its lamp posts wrapped in floral tributes.  Three people died and many others injured. Some are in intensive care.

By the entrance to Parliament a wall of flowers has been created. In Parliament Square opposite, a massive tribute to PC Keith Palmer who was killed by Khalid Masood who stabbed him to death.

Thousands are visiting the scene following the London attack.  Police are on patrol and are mingling and mixing with the crowd.  They’re happy to have photos taken and a brief chat with the tourists.

The entrance to Parliament is closed.  Tributes arrive daily for the victims of the atrocity.

Everyone is welcome to visit the Houses of Parliament and can enter through a security process which has been in place for some time.
