Buzz Aldrin and trips to Mars.  He makes it sound easy.

Buzz Aldrin, the second man to set foot on the Moon, has launched a virtual reality movie detailing his plan to get humans to Mars.

His ambition is to have a permanent human settlement on Mars. He believes there are humans out there who would be prepared to go to Mars and live there for the rest of their lives.

The European Space Station already has a programme under way to investigate the probability of having people working and living on the red planet.  It is in association with NASA and ISIS.

Budweiser has also claimed a first.  They have signed a deal so that Bud will be the beer to drink on Mars.

The film – Cycling Pathways to Mars – lasts just under 10 minutes and features the astronaut as a hologram narrating the experience.

Dave Lee interviewed him for the BBC
