EU Brexit Bill Approved To Leave The EU – it marks a major breakthrough in parliamentary procedure.  Theresa May will trigger Article 50 Wednesday March 29.

EU Brexit Bill Approved To Leave The EU.  The Parliamentary process is over.  Upper House and House of Commons have paved the way for the government to trigger Article 50 so the UK can leave the EU.

MPs got rid of 2 amendments made by House of Lords last week.  Peers did not fight too hard to keep them so voted to accept the MPs decision.

Peers backed down over the issues of EU residency rights and a meaningful vote on the final Brexit deal after their objections were overturned by MPs.

The bill is expected to receive Royal Assent and become law on Tuesday.  Theresa May will be able to keep her pledge to begin the exit programme.

A lot of debate and argument has been going on since the referendum in June 2016.

This is a historic parliamentary experience. We had some fun with it!
