Leonardo DiCaprio drew huge crowds when he popped into an Edinburgh restaurant that helps the homeless.

The Oscar winner was invited to visit Home by co-founder Josh Littlejohn ahead of an appearance at the Scottish Business Awards in Scotland’s capital tonight.

It was pouring with rain but it didn’t stop hundreds of fans gathering to meet him. Some got there at the crack of dawn to be first in the queue to catch a selfie and an autograph.

Leonardo sat down to a meal which was prepared by chefs who were once on the streets with nowhere to go. Apparently they cooked a very tasty dish!

It also brings back memories of George Clooney when he visited Edinburgh in 2015. He made a special appearance at Social Bite in Rose Street.  The cafe was crammed with his fans and led to more than a thousand pounds raised for the homeless charity.
