Welfare Cuts Dumped by Government
Disability benefit cuts are to be dropped. The new Works and Pensions Secretary, Stephen Crabb announced the climbdown on Monday March 21. He pledged there would be conversation between himself and disability groups and charities.
All this happened after Ian Duncan Smith resigned from the government when it was said in the budget speech further cuts would be made to welfare benefits.
