A Christmas without fear is how Britain spent the festive season. After the terrorist attacks in Paris by ISIS in 2015 many in the UK felt afraid and sales on the high street dropped.
According to official figures the first week after the multiple shootings in which 130 people were killed the footfall fell by 16.7 percent.
But Christmas and the festive season is under way. Stores are beginning to fill and people are out shopping. While the subject of terrorism and killings is still being talked about many are determined not to let the threat of terrorist attacks stop their every day life.
In the West End in London, people poured onto the streets and spent a lot of time in stores checking out the bargains.
