Royal Baby has been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
She will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
Prince William and Kate are now at home with their family of four at Kensington Palace and will soon be moving to their Norfolk home where William has a job.
The new Princess was born at 8.34am, May 2, weighing 8lbs 3oz.
Both mother and baby did so well they were able to leave St Mary’s Hospital within 10 hours of the birth.
Kate arrived at St Mary’s in Paddington at 6 o’clock in the morning and went straight to the Lindo Wing which is where Prince George was born.
Prince William was with her.
Waiting for Kate and the baby was a crowd of dedicated fans. Some had set up camp while others made the trip to the hospital on a daily basis.
With the Royal Baby fans were the media crowd. Camera crews and journalists have been keeping a 24-hour vigil so that they wouldn’t miss the vital picture.
However, no-one saw the Royal Couple arrive at the Hospital because they used a ‘special’ entrance.
William and Kate celebrated their wedding anniversary April 29. At one stage they thought the baby may have been born on that day!
Ynuk.tv talked to some in the group who seem to have made up their minds that the Duchess was going to have a girl – one them even predicted the name Charlotte!
