BIG CENTRE TV launched Saturday February 28 @ 6pm on Freeview Channel 8. Mid February, 2017, the broadcaster will have been on air for two years. It’s ratings are proving to be good and are gaining viewers each day. Its news service is considered to be the best in the region.
Less than three months after being awarded its licence Big Centre TV is on air after launching February 28 @ 6pm. It is broadcasting a 24 hour service to Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Solihull and the Black Country.
The station is co-owned by former ATV presenter Mike Prince and ex-teacher Chris Perry. They have set-up a deal with the Walsall Studio School to use its broadcast facilities and fresh new talent.
For the first time the region will have its own TV channel where the community can watch News, Sport, Entertainment and Children’s programmes from their own area 7 days a week. It is popular TV
It can be viewed on Freeview Channel 8. Big Centre TV was awarded its licence by Ofcom after the financial collapse of previous licence holders BLTV.
