It is the season of films and accolades.

Among the most influential British prizes are the ones awarded by BAFTA with Critics Circle not far behind.

But surprises always happen and in some cases shock. This year the movie like Mr Turner did not get nominated for any of the major awards in the prestigious BAFTA list.

How does it work?

ynuk.tv spoke to Carol Allen. A movie critic and member of the Critics Circle. Carol outlined the necessary qualifications needed to cast votes.  Carol also explained what could be behind Mr Turner being left off the BAFTA nominations list.
