Matilda The Musical goes international.  The multi-award winning show from the Royal Shakespeare Company, has been inspired by the beloved book by the incomparable Roald Dahl.

This is how it goes

The musical is written by Dennis Kelly and the original songs by Tim Minchin.  Matilda is the story of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.

Matilda is a captivating musical masterpiece that revels in the anarchy of childhood. It has the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dares to change her destiny.

The show has won 50 major international awards, including 12 for Best Musical.  Matilda continues to delight audiences in London, Sydney, on Broadway and on tour around the USA

From September 2017, Matilda welcomes a new adult cast to the Cambridge Theatre! David Shannon will toe the line as Miss Trunchbull. Gina Beck will join the company as Miss Honey opposite Tom Edden and Marianne Benedict as Mr and Mrs Wormwood.

New Matildas:  Lily-Mae Evans, Kitty Peterkin and Savannah Read join Emma Moore in the title role of Matilda Wormwood from 12 September 2017.

Matilda The Musical is now preparing for its first UK and Ireland tour. It will begin in March 2018, and run alongside the continuing West End production. The show has won 86 major international awards, including 16 for Best Musical. The hit musical is now the longest running production to play at the Cambridge Theatre.
