The wait for the royal baby is over. Kate and Wills have a boy!
Royal baby has been named as George Alexander Louis and will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. The prince born at 4.24pm BST 22nd July.
The Duke of Cambridge picked-up his family from hospital the next day and drove them to Kensington Palace in London where they stayed for one night. The family are now at the Middleton home in Bucklebury, Berkshire. The excitement began at about 6 in the morning on Monday July 22 when the Duke of Cambridge drove Kate to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington where the world’s media has been waiting since the beginning of July.
It’s also the hospital where Prince William was born. The media claimed their spots well ahead of time. In order to get a scoop or even a shot of the royal family at St Mary’s it meant a 24/7 watch outside. Journalists from all around the globe and all of them wanted the best position and best pictures. This meant protecting and guarding their equipment and making sure no-one got a chance to shoulder their way in. YNUK.tv visited the media waiting for the royal baby.
