Home Secretary, Theresa May is eager to pull Britain from the European Convention on Human Rights in a move to prevent foreign courts overruling UK judges. The EU court has enforced controversial moves such as banning the deportation of radical cleric Abu Qatada. It’s understood Mrs May is planning to include the initiative in the next Tory election manifesto, and wants to withdraw from the convention before 2015. Is it the right move?
