Pussy Riot Jailed Global Protest Day

Three Pussy Riot members have had their appeal against 2-year sentence delayed.  One of the singers had dismissed her lawyer and waiting for  new one. The punk group were sent to jail for mocking President Putin in a song they sang in a Moscow Cathedral. Pussy Riot were sent to prison for 2 years each for hooliganism.
