London Olympic Park A Closer View

Olympic - London 2012 Olympic Stadium

Security for the London 2012 Olympic Games is currently estimated at £255,000 a day. While the cost of securing the Games may get higher the venues at the Park are looking stunning.  More video has emerged about the progress made in putting the final touches to many of the buildings.

You will get a good look at how design and structure is developing and take a look inside as well.  Also, new plants and tress are sprouting giving the Park a more well kept venue for sporting events.

The public will be encouraged to sit in garden areas as well as have picnics on the grass.  Specially chosen plants and greenery will grow in well used areas keeping the fresh look of flowers and lawns.

Most of the construction work has finished even though there is still a lot of final touches to be made.  Planners say it is important to get it right from the beginning.  Many of the buildings have used materials that can be broken down and transported to other areas of the country so there is no waste and can be added to other construction buildings.  It is understood that the bubble building could be dismantled and shipped to Rio for the 2016 Games

Here’s a closer view of the Olympic Park that needs to be policed and a look inside the venues.
