The Royal Wedding captured the nation and had everyone in a party mood.  In this video extra version you will get an extended view of how people got together and had a great time together.

Kate and Wills wedding had thousands of residential streets closed off across the nation for the celebrations. Communities held parties throughout Britain to mark the much awaited for marriage. An informal Council survey found that the city of Bristol had the most street parties outside London.

The local town of Westbury-on-Trym was one of its suburbs where the streets came alive with parties.  The mood was jubilant.  Many enjoyed the opportunity to dress up and eat some magnificent food.  Tables looked fantastic as they were decorated in flags and lots of royal wedding paraphernalia spread across the dining tables.

There was singing and dancing and children were thrilled with the holiday atmosphere created by the royal event.  The weather was perfect for the great party and for those held in streets in the country.

Colour and flags were everywhere. Cakes, cupcakes, snacks, drinks on offer in streets across the UK
